Born in Germany,  began his journey in the world of electronic music in 1996. Initially captivating audiences with House music under the name Michi Muzik until 2012, he then transitioned to the realm of Minimal Techno. In 2012, he co-founded the duo M.A.M.I., focusing exclusively on producing and performing Minimal Techno. His discography boasts hundreds of releases spanning House and Techno genres. In 2016, he launched his solo project, Bitonal, which centers solely on Techno music.

A notable milestone in his career was achieving a number 1 Techno hit on Beatport in 2022 with the track "Notaufnahme" released on Sonaxx Records. The track held the number 1 position for six weeks and remained in the top ten for over half a year. It was played by DJs like DJ Rush, Nina Kraviz, Wade, Lilly Palmer, and many more, becoming the summer hit of 2022. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Eddie Amador, Todor Ivanov, N.O.B.A, Nierreich, and many more. His performances have spanned both national and international stages, including Miami Music Week USA, Raleigh USA, New York USA, Ritter Butzke Berlin, Zug der Liebe Parade Berlin, Raw Berlin, Gleis Techno Osnabrück, Sams Bielefeld, and Borderline Basel Switzerland, among many others.

Today, Bitonal plays both House and Techno sets, showcasing his versatility and continuing to evolve his sound. With years of experience as a DJ, he knows exactly how to engage with the audience and keep the energy high.
